1. Who We Are

Bulk Notes ("we," "us," or "our") is a batch letter and card mailing service operated by Mailed Words LLC. We write and mail physical mail on your behalf, one batch at a time. You can reach us at help@mailedwords.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you place a batch order:

Sender information: your name or business name, email address, and (optionally) a return address.
Recipient information: for every recipient in your batch, their name and mailing address.
Message content: the note you write for each recipient.
Payment information: processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

To fulfill your batch — write and mail each recipient's letter or card.
To contact you about your batch's status or a delivery issue.
To process payment via Stripe.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your recipients' information or message content for advertising.

4. Data Storage

Batch data (sender info, each recipient's address, message content, and status) is stored in our database hosted by Supabase (us-east-1 region). Data is retained for as long as needed to fulfill your batch and resolve any disputes, and for up to 3 years for tax and business records.

5. Third-Party Services

Stripe — handles all payment processing. Your payment details go directly to Stripe and are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Supabase — our database provider. Data is stored in the United States.
USPS — each recipient's physical letter or card is mailed via the United States Postal Service. Their address is printed on the envelope as required for delivery.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We may use basic analytics (e.g., page views) to understand how visitors use our site. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

7. Your Rights

You may contact us at any time to:

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
